Make a difference by conserving water, it's easier than you think !

Where to Begin!

The state of Lake Winnipeg is getting more worrysome, and for those living in close proximity, like the Village of Dunnottar, they lakes health is of primary concern. This site was designed by a group of students from the University of Manitoba in order to give Dunnottar residents a better understanding of what the problems are in the lake, and  how they can reduce their impact on the lake by applying the water conservation practices described on this site.

For those that want to learn even more, there are several educational documents to read for a greater understanding on water conservation, and lake winnipeg. Also included are some fun and interesting links, including a calculator which will help you measure how much water you are using per day!
